Jana M. Perkins (she/her) is a PhD student in Information Science whose recent work is in natural language processing and cultural analytics. Her research has been federally funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada since 2019, when she was pursuing a Master’s degree at McGill University. Together with Miranda Dunham-Hickman, she is co-authoring a book that will be published by Routledge.
